Its exceptional character is rooted in our Château de Thauvenay vineyard: a remarkable Terres Blanches terroir at the heart of the Sancerre appellation.
The generosity of this cuvée springs from the deep clay-limestone soils of Château de Thauvenay, located just above the Loire, opposite Pouilly. Sauvignon Blanc grapes are perfectly at home on our nuanced Terres Blanches parcels, giving life to an incredible palette of aromas. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for five months to bring out its vibrant and expressive nature.
Behind its bright yellow hue, our Château de Thauvenay cuvée hides an exuberant nose of white flowers and zesty citrus notes. Its boundless aromatic depth lingers on the palate, revealing notes of exotic fruits in this Sancerre Blanc crafted for culinary pleasure, from appetizers to dessert.

A year like no other, 2023 was notable for its unusually volatile summer weather. Our vineyard teams worked with selflessness and determination to protect the grape clusters from the fluctuating temperatures and water stress. The result was an extraordinary harvest of harmoniously balanced, full-bodied, and refreshingly vibrant grapes.
